Wholesale/Trade Nursery

We are open to trade/wholesale customers from Monday to Friday (excl Bank Holidays) for all your plant requirements. Our nursery isn’t open to the general retail public, except on selected days throughout the year. The general public can visit our garden centre 7 days a week though.

Who Do We Sell To?

'Trade Customers' are people who have registered with us as being 'in the trade'. This includes landscapers, garden designers, retail/wholesale nurseries, garden centres, shops and builders.

We ask for some form of proof of business to set up your cash-and-carry account, and once done you'll get trade pricing and discounts on all of our horticultural products. Credit facilities are available to established customers, otherwise, we accept payment upon or before collection/delivery with cash, card or cheque. Send us an email to start the setup process.

Who Can Buy From Us And How?

We supply landscapers, garden centres, people with gardening businesses, nurseries, garden designers and other people within the horticultural trade. As a registered trade customer, you can also access trade pricing in our garden centre 7 days a week.

The following criteria are used when deciding if somebody is eligible for a trade account:

Own or represent a business in the horticultural or associated industry,
Can provide some form of 'proof-of-business' such as invoice from another supplier, Companies House registration, public liability or another insurance document, website etc

You can pay by credit/debit card, cash or cheque. Alternatively, we can set up an account and you'll be invoiced each month through WCG’s Finance Department. This is possible once a trading relationship has been established, or usually straight away for public-sector/educational institutions upon you providing us with a purchase order number.

Cash and carry

We encourage customers to come and look around the Nursery. Cash and carry customers also benefit from a 10% discount (excl. bedding and hedging) if they spend over £50 ex VAT for picking up their own plants. Visiting on a weekday whilst the nursery is open means you can see our full range of stock and benefit from the advice and guidance of our nursery staff. For weekend collections and/or browsing, our Garden Centre acts as a cash and carry and you can purchase many plants and sundries down there at nursery prices, all with a trade discount.

Discounts for Trade in Garden Centre

We can now offer registered tradespeople great deals within our Garden Centre. When visiting us next time, or to set up your trade account we will be able to explain to you fully the extent of what we are now offering our valued registered customers, but to summarise:

Trade prices on all plants
10% discounts on all pots, bulbs, seeds and sundries (including feeds, fertilisers and our APTA glazed/terracotta pots)
Better rates on composts/barks
Discounts on tools

Upon their first visit to us (after August 2018), you'll be issued with a trade membership card that proves your trade status and allows you to access the preferential pricing within the Garden Centre.
