Description

This course is a hands-on  programme designed to equip you with the technical and practical skills you need to work in the media production industries. It has been written in conjunction with industry employers to ensure that the proficiencies you develop are relevant and valued in the creative industries.

You will learn how the media industries work, and understand the range of ways that people consume content. You will then learn how to research an audience’s needs, and design content to meet that market. You will then move on to learning a wide range of practical skills and techniques in content creation for at least two different types of media platforms. Finally you will design, create, and deliver a variety of practical media productions (e.g. short films, documentaries, podcasts or vlogs) and evaluate the audience’s response.

This is a highly practical course ideal for anyone who is interested in a career in front of, or behind, the camera.
